16 codes in use. External code sets are published outside the message schemas and updated every quarter, so a new code can appear without a new message version.

  • AC01Incorrect Account NumberAccount number provided in the request is invalid or missing.
  • AG01Transaction Forbidden On This AccountTransaction forbidden on this type of account (Payment cannot be made to this account for example not open for deposits, blocked, closed).
  • AGNTIncorrect AgentAgent identification provided in the request is incorrect
  • BNORAccount Holding Bank Not RegisteredPSP is not registered under this Scheme.
  • DS28Return For Technical ReasonReturn following technical problems resulting in erroneous transaction.
  • DUPLDuplicate RequestRequest is a duplicate of another request
  • FF01Invalid File FormatFile format incomplete or invalid.
  • MS03Not Specified Reason Agent GeneratedReason has not been specified by agent.
  • NORRNo Report RecievedNo response on request within timeframe.
  • NR01No Reason PossiblePSP not able to confirm details and no reason is stated.
  • PI01Account Owner Identification Do Not MatchAccount Owner Identification and Payment Account number do not match.
