The ISO 10383 Market Identifier Codes of the 22 exchanges ZagTrader connects to or links to, with their 9 segment MICs, from the October 2026 release of the ISO 10383 registration authority (effective 26 October 2026). Each page gives the legal entity, LEI, market category, city, website and status, and how the MIC is written in MT, ISO 20022 and FIX messages.
For any other exchange or venue, use the official MIC list on iso20022.org: it has all 2,889 MICs and is updated every month.

- What is a MIC code?
- A Market Identifier Code (ISO 10383): four letters or digits that identify an exchange, a trading platform or another venue, for example XSAU for the Saudi Exchange or XDFM for the Dubai Financial Market.
- What is the difference between an operating MIC and a segment MIC?
- The operating MIC identifies the entity that runs the venue. A segment MIC identifies a part of it that trades specific instruments or is regulated differently, and always points to its operating MIC.
- Where do I find a MIC that is not listed here?
- In the official list of the ISO 10383 registration authority at iso20022.org, which has every MIC (2,889 in the October 2026 file) as CSV, Excel, XML and PDF. This page covers only the markets ZagTrader connects to.
- Where are MICs used?
- In trade and settlement messages and in regulatory reporting: the place of trade in MT541 to MT543 (
:94B::TRAD//EXCH/XSAU), the market identifier in ISO 20022 securities messages, and FIX tags such as 207 SecurityExchange, 30 LastMkt and 100 ExDestination. - How often does the MIC list change?
- The registration authority publishes a new release on the second Monday of each month; the changes take effect on the fourth Monday.
