What INPS means
Under :24B::NMAT//INPS the place of safekeeping in your instruction does not allow matching, for example because it implies a different settlement route from the counterparty’s.
Under :24B::REJT//INPS or :24B::REPR//INPS the place of safekeeping is unrecognised, invalid or missing where the servicer needs it.
When you see it
- For securities held in more than one location (local CSD, ICSD, a sub-custodian) when the instruction names the wrong one.
