What it means in practice

A payment transaction status code is the value of TxSts in a pacs.002 or pain.002 status report and of the status in Swift gpi tracker messages (trck).

The receiving bank has accepted the payment for execution and settlement is in progress. In Swift gpi tracking it is the status you see while the payment moves between banks.
