What DELN means
Matching needs one delivery and one receipt. With :24B::NMAT//DELN the CSD found a candidate instruction for the same trade but in the same direction as yours.
In MT terms one side sent a receive (MT540 or MT541) and the other should have sent a deliver (MT542 or MT543). In MX the direction is the securities movement type, RECE or DELI.
When you see it
- After a booking error where buy and sell were swapped, or on a transfer between two accounts where both sides think they are receiving.
What to do next
- Check the trade direction with the front office.
- The side with the wrong direction cancels and sends the correct message type.
