What DMON means
Under :24B::NMAT//DMON the settlement amounts of an against-payment trade differ beyond what the market accepts. In T2S the tolerance is EUR 2 for amounts up to EUR 100,000 and EUR 25 above (Clearstream T2S settlement process).
Under :24B::REJT//DMON or :24B::REPR//DMON the amount is missing, malformed or inconsistent, for example an against-payment instruction without a settlement amount.
When you see it
- When accrued interest, fees or taxes are included on one side and not the other.
- After rounding differences on large bond trades, and after a price amendment that only one side booked.
What to do next
- Compare
:19A::SETT//in sequence E3 with the counterparty’s figure and rebuild both from price, quantity, accrued interest and charges. - Agree the amount; the wrong side cancels and re-instructs.
