What ACRU means
With :24B::NMAT//ACRU the accrued interest in your bond instruction does not agree with the counterparty’s, in markets that match on accrued interest.
A different accrued amount usually also means a different settlement amount, so you may see DMON at the same time.
When you see it
- On bond trades when the two sides use a different day count, a different settlement date for the accrual, or one side includes accrued interest and the other does not.
What to do next
- Recalculate accrued interest from coupon, day count convention and settlement date, and compare with
:19A::ACRU//in sequence E3. - Agree the figure; the wrong side re-instructs with the corrected accrued and settlement amounts.
