What MT607 is used for

A credit typically follows an incoming transfer or delivery that the owner announced with an MT605, or the settlement of a purchase confirmed with an MT600. Field 21 carries the reference of that transaction, and field 87a can show who delivered the commodity.

It is the commodity equivalent of the MT910 for cash accounts. Debits are advised with the MT606, and the MT608 statement lists all bookings.
