Retired in the 2017 standards release: no longer sent on the Swift network.
The MT649 carried communications about a syndicated facility for which no specific syndication message existed. Swift removed it with the rest of the syndication messages (MT643, MT644 and MT646) in the Standards MT Release 2017; since then category 6 holds only commodity and reference data messages and the common group.
