What MODC means
:25D::TPRC//MODC answers a processing change request, usually an MT530. TPRC is the qualifier for the status of such a request, and MODC is its final positive outcome.
MT530 changes processing indicators and other non-matching information, such as hold or release, priority, linking or partial settlement. MODC tells you the instruction now carries the new setting.
There is no :24B::MODC// reason qualifier: the status needs no explanation.
When you see it
- In an MT548 after you release an instruction you had put on hold, or after you change its partial settlement indicator.
What to do next
- Update the instruction in your system with the new setting.
- If you released a hold, watch for the settlement status (PEND or settlement confirmation).
