What MOPN means
:25D::TPRC//MOPN is the interim answer to a processing change request (usually an MT530). It sits between PACK and the final MODC or DEND.
The reason under :24B::MOPN// is CONF (awaiting confirmation from the counterparty or the market) or NARR.
When you see it
- In an MT548 after a modification that the market must confirm, or that depends on the counterparty.
What to do next
- If the reason is
CONF, contact the counterparty or the servicer to get the confirmation. - Until MODC arrives, assume the old settings apply. A hold you asked to release is still in place.
