MT422 Advice of Fate and Request for Instructions

Written and maintained by ZagTrader. Last reviewed . How this page is sourced and checked

The MT422 advises the remitting bank of the fate (the current status) of one or more collection documents held by the collecting bank. Because such an advice usually raises questions or requests, the same message carries them in field 75, and answers in field 76. It is the reply to an MT420 tracer.
