MT609 Statement of Commodity Contracts

Retired in the 2017 standards release: no longer sent on the Swift network.
The MT609 listed all outstanding commodity contracts between two parties, as at a given date, for which confirmations had been exchanged. Swift removed it from the category 6 standard in the Standards MT Release 2017, and it can no longer be sent over FIN.

What MT609 is used for
The current commodity messages are the trade and option confirmations MT600 and MT601, the account messages MT604 to MT608 and the loan and deposit confirmation MT620. Outstanding contracts are now reconciled from those confirmations or outside Swift.
Removed from the Swift standard in the Standards MT Release 2017 (November 2017).
